IGNITE’s Professional Membership provides an opportunity for people in technology and engineering, educators, local businesses, and interested community members to actively support and promote the goals and principles of IGNITE. Your participation gives IGNITE girls one more positive role model.
Professional Membership provides a live connection between school and the workplace. With your permission, your profile will be posted to a password-protected, members-only site to create a pool of online mentors. Based on their career goals and life interests, girls will be able to find members who they are most inspired by.
IGNITE Volunteer Newsletter
Volunteers play an important part in our organization. Our need is great and we always have wonderful people in our communities who offer their assistance when ever we need it.
The Volunteer Newsletter is published quarterly. We fill it with useful tips and ideas about fund raising. We also offer tips on helping the local Chapter Administrators locate new Professional Members and access to local technology and engineering firms willing to offer Student Internships, Scholarships and new Job Shadow Opportunities.
