Grace Xie (left) and Martha Flores
When asked what her poster represtented, 10th Grader Martha replied:
"The name of my poster is 'In the Library.' My friend and I are in the library. We are using the computers and my friend is the one standing up helping me. While I am daydreaming of how technology will help me in the future to become successful by getting a really good job. My friend is thinking how IGNITE inspires her, the speakers that come to speak to us about their successful jobs."
Grace Xie had this to say about her entry:
"The poster you see here, is about a bunch of girls at a computer program. About 1 out of 15 of them were paying attention to the speaker explaining about the different parts of the computer. The one whom is participating is, as you can tell, very interested on technology. When she grew up, her career was related to computers and she grew successful because of this knowledge." |
