Braintrust of IGNITE

IGNITE counts primarily 500+ women in high-tech, engineering, health sciences, education, and families as its members (We do have a few male Professional Members, so we do not discriminate!). Our Professional Members and Volunteers come from all different kinds of backgrounds and ethnicity, but they all share the same passion for technology, science and engineering careers and for making a difference in the lives of young girls. The IGNITE Steering Committee meets once a month via teleconference. We encourage you to get involved and share your ideas and talents to help us create new and exciting interactive real life learning experiences for these Student Members! Our needs are simple and urgent. We are searching for funding to expand the IGNITE Program into every single Middle School and High School in the US! Every year more Schools join our ranks. We are looking for Student Internships, Job Shadow opportunities, interactive workshops as well as new Professional Members who will stand up and share their career choices and work experiences with these eager, young, bright faces filled with passion.
