IGNITE™ Founder Cathi Rodgveller wins International Alliance for Women’s “World of Difference 100” Award
IGNITE is thus proud to announce that Cathi has been selected as one of the 100 recipients of The International Alliance for Women’s “World of Difference 100” award for 2011. Nominations were received from all over the globe, and the award is an acknowledgement of the importance of Cathi’s extensive work on gender issues in STEM education and the empowerment of female students from all backgrounds. The international focus of the TIAW is especially fitting given IGNITE’s recent expansion into Nigeria and Ghana.
Award winners will be recognized at the World of Difference Awards Dinner on October 27, 2011 at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC. For more information on The International Alliance for Women, visit http://www.tiaw.org/.
IGNITE invites all community members to join Cathi in working towards positive change in educational systems across Seattle, the United States, and the globe.
