Sign ups are open for internships at Microsoft

Here at Microsoft, high school students just like you will work on cutting-edge technology that will make a real difference in people's lives all over the world. As an intern, your insider's look into high-tech professions may give you a little inspiration as you make plans for college. It'll also give you a head start on building a good resume. Sure beats scooping ice cream.
How to qualify

• Be a high school junior or senior in the Puget Sound area (at the time of application)
• Have a demonstrated interest in technology
• Know how to e-mail and use Microsoft Office Word
• Have a basic grasp of HTML, Visual Basic, or other programming language (preferred)
• Be 16 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Be available to work full time, 40 hours per week, for eight to ten consecutive weeks starting on June 20, 2011
