Hi All

I know we had a great meeting at West Seattle HS on Tuesday. I want to thank the women who helped me out on Tuesday and ran the meeting for me. I had a bad flood at my house and really needed the help.

Marta Smith, Program Manager, Microsoft, and Kathie Flood, Games Developer, Microsoft, did such a great job. Kathie said that Marta did a great imitation of me, Marta has seen me do it so many times :) Thank you both for making that event possible.

I had a few girls follow up with me to tell me it was a great meeting. I am going to do the Microsoft internship application with them at the next meeting, Since Kathie and Marta did such a great job getting them excited about that. Wow, do I have great volunteers or what!! WE can all answer that, you are the best. Thank you to Lilna Givan-Williams also for attending the meeting and helping me out. Lilna is the Work Based Learning Coordinator for the district and we are working together this year to get girls school credit for participating in IGNITE. Thank you Lilna!!!!
