We had inspiring event at Microsoft !! It was great from beginning to end. The girls were uplifted and fulfilled in so many ways and left feeling like their opportunities were expanded beyond anything they could imagine before they arrived. The women at Microsoft made us feel so welcome and they were able to communicate their devotion to the girls in everything they did. The school counselors were so delighted in the event, and they do work unwaveringly in their continued support for IGNITE. It was a very special day. |

WE had a wonderful day at Microsoft! The girls got to see the Microsoft Office and Home of the Future! They loved the tours. WE also met with a very special group of Microsoft women who told their stories and answered all the girls questions. It was a great Presentation and discussion session and the girls really had a fantastic day. They learned so much about what they can do in the technology world and left Microsoft truly inspired. Thank you all for making this day possible. |

We had such a fantastic day at Microsoft. It just gets better and better!!!!!!!!! I want to thank our tour leader Raelene Sanders who set up a great tour at MSNBC.com. The girls really enjoyed seeing the studios and all the technology that goes with it. They learned a lot about the real world of technology and seeing it at Microsoft is such a great thrill for all the them. I want to thank Robert Willis, the Lead Program Manager at MSNBC, who told us all about how it works and made us all feel so welcome. Then Raelene spent time with the girls showing them all around the building and discussing all the kinds of careers people can have who work at that location. Everyone had such a great time! |

We had a fabulous day visiting Microsoft with the young women and teachers from Sealth and Garfield High Schools. The young women were wonderful and patient as we visited the Home of the Future in 2 groups, for a half hour each. They love seeing that exhibit, it is always a thrill for them. Then we met with the wonderful women from Microsoft and what an amazing turnout of women!! There were so many types of careers represented and the young women were so fortunate to get to ask questions and get them answered. The women did such a great job interacting with the girls in such a caring and thoughtful way, and everyone got to talk and ask their questions. It was such a great experience to have so many Microsoft people clearly interested and passionate about helping the girls understand about all of the opportunities open to them in their future. |
